Celebrating 1 year of TKG Poland

We can’t quite believe it has been a whole year since we launched our first international studio – TKG Poland!

It has been a fantastic year and we were excited to bring some of the TKG magic to Digital Dragons in Krakow in May 2022. Since our launch, we’re over the moon to have added Agata, Davide and Daniel to our team. Get to know more about them below!

As a way of celebrating a year of TKG Poland, we’re making a charity donation to Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy. It’s one of the oldest and most cherished charities in Poland, raising money for pediatric and elderly care, and the healthcare system in Poland.

What better way to celebrate TKG Poland’s 1 year anniversary than by celebrating the people who make up the team? Below you can meet Agata, Davide and Daniel who form our growing remote studio and get to know a little more about them and Third Kind Games.

Agata

Cześć! Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

I'm Agata and I'm from Poland, I live in Poznan. I have 12 years of experience in HR. For the last 6 years I worked in automotive, newtech and IT, where I created HR - I built and implemented HR&EB strategies and recruited. Now I'm in game dev. I joined TKG in November and it was my best choice, for which I am very grateful.

The flexibility that TKG gives me allows me to get back to my hobbies. I have time in the afternoon for practicing yoga, training Balbina - my dog, and getting back to painting. Maintaining a work-life balance is very important at TKG.

What’s your role at TKG?

At TKG, I am an HR Business Partner and develop TKG's Polish studio from the human side :)

What's the Third Kind experience like?

I love the openness and willingness to support that I get from the rest of the team. The opportunity to create modern HR in a modern company.

Davide

Cześć! Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

I'm Davide and I'm from Italy, having moved to Poland for a new job opportunity working for one of the large gaming companies in Poland for a couple of years. In 2022 I decided to try a new adventure with TKG! In my free time I try to keep myself active by playing Tennis and I really enjoy cooking.

What’s your role at TKG?

I work at TKG as an Experienced Programmer.

What's the Third Kind experience like?

What I really loved from the beginning is the work environment. There is a very great connection and interaction between all team members, a great place to improve professionally and know great people.

Daniel

Cześć! Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

I'm Daniel and I'm from Racibórz, I have a background in Computer Science, my main hobbies are: playing the drums, painting Warhammer 40k miniatures and of course playing games.

What’s your role at TKG?

I'm an Experienced Programmer working on Blankos Block Party.

What's the Third Kind experience like?

It's got to be the working environment. Everyone in the team here is very nice and people are always ready to help if you ever need anything.
