It’s been almost a year since we officially kicked off MAVRIX with Matt Jones, who is a professional Red Bull freestyle mountain bike athlete, commentator, and extreme sports fanatic – now turned game developer on the side. With numerous awards and a global fan base, Matt is a prominent figure in the world of professional mountain biking across the globe.
Matt Jones, his brother Jono, and Cascade Interactive have become an integral part of the team at TKG as together we’ve built the ultimate authentic MTB experience for players and riders alike.
Matt and Jono have got our team into the headspace of thinking like pro-riders, while vice versa we’ve been showing how we translate that into a game and the (at times!) wild ride that is game development. It’s meant that the end result is a MTB game built from the ground up in partnership with a professional athlete, whose drive for authenticity is at the very core of MAVRIX.
